Short treatise on prosody. There is some confusion concerning the name of the author: Kaḥḥālah cites him as Muḥammad ibn Abī al-Jaysh al-Anṣārī al-Andalusī (d. 549/1154;
IX/176) while he is named as ʿAfīf al-Dīn Abū al-Ḥasan Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm al-Anṣārī
al-Andalusī al-Naḥwī in a Berlin MS (see Ahlwardt no. 7142). However, Ḥājjī Khalīfah
(see IV/200-202, no. 8130) attributes the treatise to Ḍiyā' al-Dīn Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd
Allāh ibn Muḥammad al-Khazrajī al-Mālikī (d. 549/1154-1155 or 626/1228-1229; GAL I/312
S I/545-546; Kaḥḥālah VI/117; Ziriklī IV/124; see Vollers 0883 - 15).
