Anthology with exquisite prose pieces and poems that are divided into 25 books (kitāb)
that each fall into two parts (juz'). The books are named after gemstones in such
a way that after the 14th book the names are repeated in reverse order and along
with the extension al-thānīyah (the second). The present MS contains the second part of the kitāb al-jumānah (ff. 1a-37b), both
parts of the kitāb al-marjānah (ff. 38a-59b, ff. 60a-79b) and the incomplete kitāb
al-yāqūtah up to the second part, section al-ḥarakah wa-al-sukūn (ff. 80a-142a, ff.
142b-183b).

central ornament of the covers: circle filled with hatched thin interlace pattern
and dots, a triangle of hatched interlace pattern and dots above and below the circle
as well as in the middle of each of the framing bands of the transverse border; the
corners, rounded off with two curves, are filled the same as the central ornament;
frame consists of a line pattern and a band of heart shaped leaves filled with trefoil;
doublures made of dyed cloth and paper
