Excerpt of the astronomical tables of ʿAlā' al-Dīn Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn Ibrāhīm ibn
Muḥammad Ibn al-Shāṭir al-Anṣārī al-Dimashqī (d. 777/1375; GAL II/126-127 S II/157;
Kaḥḥāla VII/8-9; Ziriklī IV/251). The excerpt was, according to the majority, compiled
by Ibn Abī al-Fatḥ al-Ṣūfī. The end of the manuscript is only fragmentary since the
lower part of f. 74 is partly destroyed. Ḥājjī Khalīfah (III/557, no. 6934) does not ascribe the excerpt al-Durr al-fākhir
to Ibn Abī al-Fatḥ al-Ṣūfī, but instead to Shams al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Ḥalabī
(d. 879/1474-1475; Ḥājjī Khalīfah III/557, no. 6934; 566, Nr. 6951). f. Iv: Conversion of an Islamic date to the Roman calendar
