• Commentary on the grammatical compendium al-Unmūdhaj fī al-naḥw written by Abū al-Qāsim Maḥmūd ibn ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad al-Zamakhsharī (d. 538/1143-1144; EI2 IX/432-434; GAL I/289-296 S I/507-513; Kaḥḥālah XII/186-187; Ziriklī VII/178).
  There is some insecurity concerning the commentator's date of death. Ahlwardt (VI/no. 6516) stresses that he should not be confused with his namesake al-Ardabīlī who is also called Nādirī Ghanīzādah. He, in return, died in 1036/1626-1627.
